1. Senior Engineering Manager
We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager with excellent skills in managing and contributing to design and development of multi-threaded, high performance, highly-available applications/platforms in Java & Solaris/Linux environment.

Responsibilities:
Lead and manage multi-site development teams to ensure that they follow BayPackets standards in design, development, QA/Test, Release management, support and sustaining of BayPackets products
Manage product development and delivery both as an individual, a team member and leader. Provide technical leadership to the team in terms of being highly knowledgeable in the technologies involved, making design decisions, reviewing team's deliverables (design, code, documents, etc.) to ensure they meets BayPackets standards
Manage key metrics for all products/projects to meet cost, quality and on-time delivery goals
Working with product managers and architects to ensure that products are designed and developed to meet product roadmap and BayPackets architecture standards

Professional Requirements
The person must have strong working experience in the areas listed below:

- MS/BS with seven plus years of experience
- Experience in end-to-end management of software projects with team split over multiple sites
- Strong process orientation
- Proficient in Java, Solaris/Linux
- In depth knowledge of multi-threading, object-oriented design, network programming, distributed software, high-availability
- In depth knowledge of SIP protocol, and good understanding of other telecom protocols such as INAP, TCAP, ISUP SS7 protocols
- Thorough knowledge of J2EE technology and HTTP Servlet Containers
- Experience in technologies such as JAIN and Parlay will be a big plus
