BayPackets and Cirpack Join Forces to Enable SIP-based Voice Services

Complete Product Interoperability Allows Operators to Deliver Innovative Voice Services to Residential and Business Customers Using Carrier-Class SIP Platforms

FREMONT, Calif. and VON Europe, London UK — June 9, 2003 — BayPackets, Inc., a provider of enhanced voice and data solutions for wireless, wireline and cable operators and Cirpack, a leading vendor of next generation voice switches for telecom operators’ infrastructures, today announced an agreement to promote joint solutions enabling service providers to deploy enhanced voice services cost-effectively over any traditional or next generation network infrastructure. The solutions are made of Cirpack’s SoftSwitch and Media/Signaling Gateways and BayPackets’ RSI Network Services Platform. These field-proven products are connected using SIP technologies and have shown perfect interoperability.
