Experienced Exec to Drive Global Penetration of BayPackets'
Next Generation Voice and Data Solutions

- BayPackets, Inc., a leader in providing IP Multimedia
Subsystem (IMS) compliant multi-network voice and
data solutions for wireless, wireline and cable operators,
today announced that it has named JD Vaughn as its
new Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing.
The 30-year sales and marketing veteran is responsible
for driving worldwide sales of BayPackets' service
delivery platforms and applications, as well as global
awareness of BayPackets' service provider solutions.

channels, carriers, ILECs, CLECs, IXCs, RBOCs and
Cable MSOs to deliver enhanced services," said

Prior to joining BayPackets, Vaughn served as RADVISION's
General Manager for the Americas, where he was responsible
for all North and South America operations. Vaughn
also served as Vice President of Sales for Polycom,
where he was responsible for all sales personnel for
the "Americas" and for over $200 million
in annual revenues. Vaughn joined Polycom through
its acquisition of Accord Systems, where he was the
company's Worldwide Vice President of Sales. Vaughn
began at Accord when it was a start up and was responsible
for leading the global sales team that drove the company's
annual revenues from zero to $60 million. Over his
career Vaughn has also held senior sales and marketing
positions at companies including ViewCast, VideoServer,
PictureTel Corporation, MCI Telecom USA, and AT&T
Long Lines.
